Queen's Award

Queen's Award for JCC
Her Majesty The Queen, on the advice of the Prime Minister, has approved the award of her Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education to Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College.
The announcement was made at St James's Palace at 7pm on Thursday 15th November, 2007.
Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College is one of twenty universities and colleges across the United Kingdom to receive The Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education.
The awards are given to recognise the outstanding work of universities and colleges to support the United Kingdom's reputation as a world class provider of education.
Joseph Chamberlain was the only sixth form college in the UK to be on the list of prize winners and it is particularly pleasing that a sixth form college was recognised for its outstanding contribution to education.
The College received this award for its strategy of high student aspration and outstanding progression to universities.
We are now a recipient of the Queen's Anniversary Prize and a Grade One (outstanding) classification from OfSTED.

“I loved the people at JC, the team-work and the relaxed atmosphere. I didn’t know what career I wanted but you get lots of encouragement to try different work experiences and to really search for what suits you.”
