Governance

The College is an incorporated College under the Further and Higher Education Act 1992.

20 Governors form the Board of the College Corporation. They are composed of the Principal, who is also the Chief Executive of the College, independent or business members, co-opted members, one nominee of the local authority, nominees of local bodies, two staff members, one parent and two student members. The independent members cover a range of interests, experience and expertise both in the private and public sector.

The work of the Board is governed by the Instruments and Articles of Government, which can only be modified by decision of the Full Board.

The work of the Corporation is supported by a Clerk on a part time basis.
