In addition to the Full Board, there are a number of sub-committees which meet on a regular basis throughout the academic year. These are currently:-

• Audit
• Finance and General Purposes
• Remuneration
• Search.

Additionally, the Corporation may set up ad hoc committees. For example, an Appointments Panel would need to be set up to appoint a senior postholder. The above sub-committees may, by agreement of the Full Board, enlist individuals to provide additional expertise when necessary. Currently, the Audit and Search sub-committees are supported in this way.

The Chair of Governors is Richard Bate. The Deputy Chair is Bob Attwood.

Audit Committee members are Andy McHale (Chair) and Graeme Birch, plus 2 to be elected.

Finance and General Purposes members are Richard Bate (Chair), Bob Attwood, Phil Leyland, Thelma Probert, Mohammed Saqub and Elly Tobin (Principal)

Remuneration Committee members are Richard Bate (Chair), Bob Attwood and Phil Leyland.

Search Committee members are Richard Bate (Chair), Cllr.Sue Anderson and Phil Leyland.
