Revision Tips

Have you ever been in a lesson and then forgotten what some of it was about?
During the lesson the information went into short-term memory - but as soon as you left the classroom the information started to melt away - it didn't get converted into the all important long-term memory.
You spent all that time in the lesson getting it into short-term memory and then just let it all go.
Effective revision is about getting the information into long-term memory before it melts away like an ice cube in the sun.

The different boxes below will give you some simple ideas to try out.
Remember to find what suits you - everyone is different.
We hope that what follows will help you.
