I would like to welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest in Joseph Chamberlain College. Situated just ten minutes from Birmingham City Centre, we are a highly successful Sixth Form College with a local and national reputation for excellence. We offer a wide range of A-level and BTEC courses for school leavers in our award-winning main building and a range of programmes for adults and HE students on a separate campus.
We are the only college in Birmingham and Solihull to be rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and the achievement of our students is amongst the highest in the country. This is because our teachers are all highly skilled professionals and are experts in what they do; their focus is firmly on making sure that all of our students achieve exceptional examination and vocational results.
We are a highly inclusive and vibrant college, proud of the diversity that exists amongst our staff and students. Those who visit the College often comment on the friendly, welcoming and positive atmosphere they experience during their time here. I believe that this comes from our strong sense of community, which is characterised by warm and highly respectful relationships between staff, students and their peers. Joseph Chamberlain College is a place where you will be expected to work hard but where you will also be given plenty of opportunities to develop new skills, make new friends and become involved in a range of extra-curricular activities.

We are only ten minutes from the city centre and are easily accessible from all over Birmingham and Solihull
Please note that there is no college car park for students and only limited parking for parents and visitors. However, there is a public pay and display car park on the corner of Moseley Road and Haden Street. If you are using a Sat Nav, enter the postcode B12 9DJ to get to Sherbourne Road East where the College's car park is situated.
By bus (from city centre)
Walk to stop MS2, outside Selfridges and opposite Moor Street Station. Get on the number 50 bus, which runs every 4-5 minutes weekdays. After about 10 minutes, you will pass Birmingham Car Auctions on the left and a fire station on the right. Get off at the next stop. Walk back to the traffic lights and cross Moseley Road. Walk down Belgrave Road staying on the left and you will come to the pedestrian entrance.
