This qualification is suitable for you if you are aged 19+ and are interested in developing your skills and knowledge required to study at University level.
This is a level 3 qualification which provides adults with the opportunity to study a variety of topics to enable progression to University. You will be able to study a range of subjects connected to Health, Care and Social Work.
Learners studying the Ascentis Access to HE Course in Health and Social Care will ordinarily be able to progress to a related degree. Whether you are looking to progress your career, develop your higher level qualifications or would like a change in direction, this course can provide you with the stepping stone to do so.
This course is assessed via a combination of course work and some exams. You will be in college for three days per week. You will also have time allocated for independent study tasks. There will also be the opportunity to study this course via a blended learning approach.
Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths or the ability to complete GCSE English or Maths in a year, following initial assessment.

I thought adult learning would be difficult but as the time went on I realised I can achieve. The course has helped me to realise that there is no age limit to learning and it is never too late!
