This course is an alternative to GCSE Science which still allows you to study the core Science subjects of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. As well as focusing on the necessary scientific concepts, this BTEC also develops the practical skills that are required for careers within the Science sector and explores how these skills are utilised in the workplace.
Course Assessment
This course is assessed through a mixture of assignments and exams. There are twelve units in total; two of these units are assessed via external examinations, and the other ten are assessed by assignments.
