“I enjoy the diverse, stimulating nature of the course. It engages a wide audience through a range of topics including history, psychology and physiology, alongside high quality teaching and support.”
This is a very engaging and exciting BTEC course. Since it is a Level 3 National Extended Certificate, it is equivalent to one A-Level. This BTEC course blends together both theory and practical learning. You will explore and create a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, discover how various body systems work and interlink to allow sporting performers to take part in sport, and learn about exercise as a whole. This instilled knowledge will be used to review your own performance in a sporting activity, allowing for an opportunity to develop your own practical performance.
This course will also provide transferable knowledge and skills that will prepare you for progression into Higher Education, such as developing your ability to learn independently, research actively & methodically, give presentations, and be an active group member.
