Access to Higher Education Student
This qualification is suitable for you if you are aged 19+ and are interested in developing your skills and knowledge required to study at university level.
This is a level 3 qualification which provides adults with the opportunity to study a variety of topics to enable progression to University. You will be able to study a range of subjects connected to Health, Care and Social Work.
Learners studying the Ascentis Access to HE Course in Health and Social Care will ordinarily be able to progress to a related degree. Whether you are looking to progress your career, develop your higher-level qualifications or would like a change in direction, this course can provide you with the stepping stone to do so. Career options include nursing, midwifery, and health and social care.
Most of the study will be in our adult learning centre at Moseley Road, with some lessons online. Lessons will be on three days per week – with time for independent study and coursework.
The qualification is awarded by the Ascentis awarding organisation.
