UCAS Information

We at JCC have put some information together for parents/carers to help you understand your child’s next steps regarding university.

We are aware that some parents/carers would have experienced this with elder children; however, for many of you, this may be the first time you will have encountered this; therefore, the whole process can seem a bit daunting.

Please rest assured that our helpful members of staff, including our phenomenal team of personal progress tutors, are here to help your child along the way.

We also work very closely with our academic learning coaches, who will support your child with writing their personal statement, and teachers help provide curriculum information to put in their reference.

If your child is not sure about which university they want to attend or which course they want to study, or if they’re questioning whether university is the right choice for them at all, our college can provide support and advice in the form of our careers adviser. She is available throughout the year to talk through all available options so that your child can make the most informed and best decision on their future.

The below information will take you through the UCAS application process step by step. However, should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your child’s personal progress tutor.
