In support of Sport Relief 2018, students and staff at Joseph Chamberlain College sprang into action last week to raise money to help tackle critical issues affecting people across the UK and the world.
Aiding in the fight against diseases such as malaria and raising the awareness of concerns such as mental health, the £403.50 raised by the College will go a good distance in supporting the 2000 projects worldwide that Sport Relief assist with.
The week was packed with sporting activities across the College, including glow in the dark rugby, trampolining, a basketball shootout and ‘staff vs students’ in cricket and football.
Additionally to the money raised, students rallied together to collect an enormous amount of chocolate, which will be donated to the Birmingham Central Food Bank.
A big thank you to all who contributed to this fantastic week and excellent cause.
