A Fantastic Year of Results for Joseph Chamberlain College’s High Achievers!
This year, we have seen our high achievers attain astounding results.
We would like to celebrate the phenomenal success of the seven of our students who were holding offers to study Dentistry and Medicine, as every one of them has accepted those places. Noor Al Salman deserves a very special mention as she has won a place for Medicine at Oxford University with grades of A*, A*, A*, while Fatima Abdullahi (A*, A, A), Halima Hussain (A*, A*, A), Shumaia Nuha (A*, B, B) and Mounira Abdulwahab (A, B, B) are all to be congratulated for having won medical places at the University of Birmingham. Dentistry places at the University of Birmingham have been awarded to both Habiba Saeed (A*, A, A) and Aneesa Mahmoud (A, A, A). In a year of very stiff competition for medical and dentistry courses, these seven places are truly remarkable achievements.
Amongst our other high achievers, some exceptional results have been awarded, including Senyah Hussain (A*, A*, A*) and Ruwaid Ahmed (A*, A*, A), who are both heading off to the University of Birmingham for Law degrees; Hajra Chughtai (A*, A*, A) who takes up a place for Politics and International Relations also at Birmingham.
High achieving students who will be studying further afield include Subhan Islam (A*, A*, A), who has won a place at Warwick University for Economics, and Umar Majeed (A*, A*, A), who joins him at Warwick with a place to study Law. Dezire Tafari (A*, A, B) has won a place at Sheffield University to study Japanese and Nikoleta Medvedeva (A, A, B) will be taking up a place at Leeds University to study Russian and International Relations.
We’re incredibly proud of our high achievers; we would like to wish you all the best of luck at university.
