Step 2: Getting to Know You
Step 2: Getting to Know You
We know it is a huge thing to transition from school to college, so we want to make it smooth and simple for you and ensure you're fully prepared - to do this, we need to know about you. We ask that you please submit a photo for your ID card and complete an online form to confirm personal details/emergency contacts. You can do this by clicking the button at the bottom of this step's box. We will also send an email containing the same link. Keep your eyes peeled!
If you run into any problems or have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to email us at MAnders@jcc.ac.uk - we are here to help, every step of the way!
Once this has been completed, you will soon receive a letter containing the details of your personalised appointment in August to confirm your enrolment after your GCSE results (best of luck!) - more details on that in Step 3 below.
Step 3: Getting Started
Step 3: Getting Started
You will either confirm your enrolment at JCC on Thursday 22nd August or Friday 23rd August - you should have received a letter containing all of the details. If you haven't, please get in touch with admissions@jcc.ac.uk. If your appointment is on GCSE Results Day, don't worry - you will be called in later in the morning to allow plenty of time for you to collect your results!
On this day, we will confirm your ID, check your grades, complete your enrolment, and discuss your subject choices/make any changes. We understand just how important your subject choices are for your future, so we will work with you on the day and provide lots of support to make sure you're on the perfect pathway for you.
We wish you the absolute best of luck with your GCSE results! Please remember to bring them with you to confirm your enrolment. If you don't get the results that you were hoping for, don't panic! Still attend your enrolment appointment and we will work with you to find an alternative pathway that will support your dream future.
