We are delighted to announce two of our students have been offered places at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. We are hugely proud of these high achieving students.
Zuhaira Islam, who achieved A* A A and has a place at St Peter’s college, Oxford University to read History and Politics and Abubakar Mohamud, who achieved A* A* A and has a place at Robinson College, Cambridge University to read Human, Social and Political Sciences.
Zuhaira, who is going on to read History and Politics, said:
“My two years at JCC have been an incredible experience. The support I’ve had from my teachers in every subject has been phenomenal. Additionally, I have made lifelong memories and friends here. I really do appreciate everything the college has done to help me”
Abubakar, who is going on to read Social and Political Sciences, adds:
“I am delighted with my A-Level results, a satisfying end to 2 years of hard work. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my teachers who have gone above and beyond to help me fulfil my potential. I would also like to give a special mention to Rosie Shale who supported me throughout my Cambridge application. JCC is an exceptional place and the support offered by the staff is notable, and I am grateful for my time there. I hope my achievements can serve as an inspiration for people from similar backgrounds.”

“Despite this most difficult of years, we are delighted to celebrate the successes of Zuhaira and Abubakar, as they prepare to take up their places at Oxford and Cambridge. I know how they will both thrive in their studies during the years ahead.
