Parents and carers of new first year students are warmly invited to join us for a welcome evening on Tuesday 21st September.
Location: Joseph Chamberlain College
Time: 4:30pm – 18:45pm
Date: Tuesday 21st September (Academic – AS Level)
During the evening information will be shared with you about studying at the college, progression routes and the support available to students. There will also be an opportunity during the evening for you to meet your son or daughters’ Personal Progress Tutor and to take a tour of the college..
We believe that parental support is extremely important in helping students to succeed. We therefore hope that you will be able to attend our event so that we can start to establish a strong partnership with you
Due to the current situation we ask that there are no more than 2 guests attending per student. Although many of the social distancing rules have been lifted we do ask you to wear a mask whilst attending the event. You will also be required to provide proof of a negative lateral flow test undertaken 24 hours prior to the event starting. Unfortunately, we will not be able to carry out any lateral flow tests at the college.
There is very limited car-parking space on campus but parking is available on the nearby roads in the evening.
We hope that you will be able to attend as we look forward to developing a partnership with you to ensure your son or daughter has every opportunity to reach their potential.
