Our Upcoming Student of the Year Awards
Tomorrow, Joseph Chamberlain College will once again host one of its favourite events of the college year: the Student of the Year Awards. With an outstanding number of students being awarded the highest grades this summer and more students than ever securing places on the most competitive degree courses in the country, there is a lot for the college to celebrate during the evening. It is a momentous occasion and an incredibly special opportunity to be able to recognise and celebrate the students’ phenomenal achievements. Each award will be accompanied by a personal comment detailing aspects of each award winner’s time at Joseph Chamberlain College. These comments aim to make each award unique, shedding light on the various things these outstanding students did in order to achieve these esteemed awards.
This year, similar to the last, there will be a delicious buffet, and exciting entertainment waved into the evening. Last year, Iryna Butler, a sublime singer and pianist, introduced the evening with spectacular and atmospheric music. Break Mission, a community hip-hop events and educational organisation, showcased a jaw-dropping dance routine that left the audience wide-eyed in amazement. The evening came to a close through the sound of dhol drums, as the final performers of the evening, the Dhol Crew, showcased their immense talent and brought the incredible evening to a close.
The college is thrilled to host this year’s Student of the Year Awards tomorrow.
