The Governing Body

The Governing Body plays an important role in the leadership and strategic direction of Joseph Chamberlain College, helping to ensure that the College continues to provide high-quality education, opportunities and support for our students.

Our Governors bring together a wide range of professional experience, knowledge and expertise. Working closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team, they provide oversight, support and constructive challenge to help the College achieve its strategic objectives.

The Governing Body is responsible for monitoring the College’s performance, ensuring effective use of resources and maintaining strong standards of governance and accountability. Governors also help ensure that the College remains focused on its core purpose: supporting our students to achieve their potential and progress successfully into higher education, apprenticeships, employment and their future careers.

Our Governors are committed to the values and ambitions of Joseph Chamberlain College and to ensuring that decisions are made in the best interests of our students, staff and wider community.
