You will cover all the principal areas of Mathematics: numbers, shape, space and measurements and handling data.
You will already have a maths qualification at a lower level, or an initial assessment will determine which course level is most suited to you. We offer a range of Maths Functional Skills classes, ranging from Entry Level to Entry Level 2; the levels progress as below:
On successful completion, you will achieve a Maths Functional Skills qualification at the highest level you have progressed to.
You may choose to progress from Functional Skills Maths to Maths Level 1 and 2 (GCSE Equivalent), or we will support your application to a wider range of courses and employment.
Part-time, over one academic year (September – June).

Written assessments at the end of each unit; there are no exams.
