JCC Griffins Law Society Take on Mock Trial at Gray’s Inn
15th SEPTEMBER 2026
Students from the JCC Griffins Law Society, part of Joseph Chamberlain College’s wider enrichment offer, took part in the Griffin Access Programme residential summer school in London during the summer holidays.
Following a year of preparation, students were invited to Gray’s Inn, one of the four Inns of Court, where they took part in a mock trial and had the opportunity to network with practising barristers and judges. Their preparation, confidence and skill were highly praised throughout the experience.
The following day, students visited Parliament as special guests of Travis D. Frain OBE DL of Resilience in Unity, giving them the chance to observe democracy in action.

Associate Assistant Principal for Wider Learning Sarah Harwood and Head of Law Bradley Joynes said they were incredibly proud of the students and the way they represented Joseph Chamberlain College throughout the programme.
