Christmas Card Competition

Joseph Chamberlain College would like to extend its congratulations to one of its exceptional students, Imen Souguir, for winning the Christmas Card Competition.

Imen is a first-year student at the college, studying AS-Levels in Photography, Graphic Design, Business Studies and Computer Science, with a goal to study Creative Computing at the University of the Arts London.

Imen’s unique design utilised her remarkable photography and graphic design skills, using an original photo that she took of Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market for her AS-Level Photography course and then tracing over it while weaving in various original graphics. She expressed that the original idea for her bespoke design came from a desire to create something relevant to both Joseph Chamberlain College and the local community.

The card will be sold within the college in order to raise money for the Save the Children charity.

After winning, Imen said, “I feel very proud to have won. Thank you to my teachers, Lauren and Cody, for supporting me and pushing me to do my best. I originally wasn’t sure if I should enter, but Lauren and Cody encouraged me to do my best, and I now I feel like I would participate in similar things in the future.”
