JCC Careers Conference 2026. Opportunity, Inspiration, and Real-world Connections
Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College was buzzing with excitement on 23rd June 2026 as our campus became a hub of opportunity for students at our annual Careers Conference.
With hundreds of students connecting face-to-face with over 60 employers and universities, the day was all about real-world opportunities, practical advice, and inspiring future ambitions.
Whether interested in apprenticeships, university, or heading straight into the world of work, every student found something valuable to help shape their next steps.
A Day Packed with Possibilities
The energy on campus was incredible, with around 500 students attending. The day offered:
- 44 workshops covering topics from CV writing to industry-specific skills
- 2 career panels featuring professionals sharing their journeys and advice
- Stalls and networking zones where students could chat with employers and university reps
Students took an active role throughout the day, joining discussions, asking thoughtful questions, and building valuable contacts. Direct conversations with employers and university representatives gave them relevant insights and advice to help plan their next move after JCC.
