This is a two-year course that is equivalent to one A-Level. This qualification covers the key areas of health, physiology, and disease and also provides the opportunity to study the areas of pharmacology, physiological measurement, clinical testing, and medical research. The main purpose of this qualification is to support your progress into Higher Education or employment in areas of Medical Science, such as job roles in physiological sciences or clinical laboratory services.

After successful completion of the first year, you will achieve a Level 3 Applied Certificate. This will present you with the opportunity to progress into the second year to complete the full Level 3 Applied Diploma.
